2. The Service
NudgeCat is an Android digital wellbeing app. It helps you manage app usage by letting you select apps, set usage and rest intervals, and receive a gentle rest prompt when your selected usage time has elapsed.

3. Acceptance and Eligibility
By using NudgeCat, you agree to these Terms. The Service does not require account registration.
If you are under 16, you may use the Service only with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If your country sets a lower valid consent age under GDPR Article 8, local law may apply, but parental consent may still be required depending on your age.
4. App Permissions and Device Settings
NudgeCat may depend on Android permissions or settings such as usage access, notifications, and display over other apps. If you do not grant these permissions, or if Android or device manufacturer policies restrict them, some functions may not work correctly.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the Service in violation of law, these Terms, or Google Play policies;
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or analytics systems;
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or distribute the app except where mandatory law permits it;
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
6. Fees, Payment, and Subscriptions
NudgeCat is currently provided free of charge. We do not currently offer in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, or paid digital content.
If paid features are introduced later, we will disclose the total price, payment methods, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refund conditions, and any withdrawal exceptions before purchase.
7. EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Because NudgeCat is currently free and does not sell paid digital content or services, payment refund and paid-contract withdrawal provisions do not currently apply.
If NudgeCat later offers paid digital content or services to EU consumers, consumers will generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts unless an exception under the Consumer Rights Directive applies, such as digital content supplied immediately after express consent and acknowledgment that the withdrawal right is lost.
8. Changes, Updates, and Availability
We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for improvement, security, operating-system changes, Google Play policy changes, or technical reasons. Where a material adverse change affects consumers, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights you may have under EU or Member State consumer law for digital services.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, website, character assets, logos, design, text, software, and other materials are owned by the provider or licensed to the provider. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Notice.
11. Liability
NudgeCat is a digital wellbeing support tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, productivity, or professional advice and does not guarantee a particular wellbeing outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for failures caused by your device settings, operating-system restrictions, network problems, manufacturer policies, or unsupported environments.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the website, app notice, or another appropriate channel. For material adverse changes affecting consumers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where practicable.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and we may only bring proceedings against you where mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules allow.

The European Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. EU consumers may consult the European Commission's consumer redress resources and the list of consumer dispute resolution bodies published by the Commission.
NudgeCat is not currently an online platform that hosts public user-generated content. Digital Services Act content-moderation complaint mechanisms therefore do not currently apply. If public user-generated content features are introduced, the relevant content moderation and redress procedures will be published.
